CERIBCERIB is the French acronym for Centre d’Etudes et des Recherches de l’Industrie du Béton. It is a state-approved non-public body founded in 1967 whose mission is to facilitate technological progress, productivity enhancement and quality improvement in the precast concrete industry while applying sustainable-development principles. CERIB is a notified body for the CE marking (n° 1164) of numerous construction products and is a French accredited or certified body for activities such as certification, testing, metrology, inspection, research or training. It is also a French approved laboratory for fire resistance and for individual wastewater treatment systems. CERIB’s competencies are focussed on Materials, Concrete Technology, Fast Manufacturing Processes, Design of Structures, Mechanical and Fire Resistance Evaluations and Simulations, Metrology and Calibration, Life Cycle Assessments, Standards and Regulations, Quality Safety Environment Management Systems, Workers’ Health and Safety. High scientific value is systematically supplied for every technical project or investigation proceeded by the technical teams made up of experienced doctors, engineers and technicians. The services provided are managed under a strict confidentiality and independency keeping away any conflict of interest between research, consultancy, testing and certification activities. |
