As you will be aware the Government has now responded to the Future Homes Standard / Part L consultation, confirming the standards and compliance metrics to be adopted as part of the changes to Approved Document L1A. These changes will be regulated for in December 2021, to come into effect in June 2022. PLANNING AROUND COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

We can appreciate that every jurisdiction and individual employer is going to have differing policies on how such events are going to be handled and how (or if) travel is permitted. This will undoubtedly impact the ability of the participants to attend in person. However, we are committed to running an in-person symposium in 2021, and although its final form may be much different that how the CMS has looked in the past, we feel that it is important to provide a forum for researchers to disseminate their work. The organizing committee is pursuing various options, including virtual participation and hybrid models, and as developments unfold, we will be communicating that information. Please check the Announcements page for updates. Thank you
