Abstract

Quality Assurance should not be an independent function but integrated as part of the whole process of responding to the needs of the market for the product. The practical aspects of Quality Control can be described as a managerial discipline of thrift and the frugal and profitable use of resources, measuring and testing products and using the results sensibly. This case history describes how a Q.A. Scheme was introduced into concrete blockmaking.
