The Use of Light Woven Reinforcement for Crack Control

Abstract

Bed joint reinforcement in designed applications may be used to enhance the wind load resistance of a panel or to provide support over an opening. Non-designed applications generally relate to crack control. Some experiments to demonstrate how light woven reinforcement can help to control cracking in masonry are described.
