BMS AGM & Luncheon 26th June 2007 with guest speaker.
The Annual General Meeting and Annual Luncheon will take place at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London on Tuesday26th June 2007. The AGM will start at 9.30am and will be followed by a Technical Session that is scheduled to start at 10.45 am. The session will finish at 12.15pm for Luncheon at 1.00pm. The cost of the Luncheon for Members and Guests is £75 including attendance at the Technical Session, the pre-luncheon reception and wine with the meal. The seating will be in tables of 10 or 12 which may be booked entire at a cost of £70. In order to comply with Club Rules, a list of individual names attending the luncheon must be submitted by the Secretary not less than 48 hours prior to the function.
Guest Speaker at the Annual Luncheon will be Mr Don Ward, Chief Executive of Constructing Excellence in the Built Environment, the leading membership-led industry improvement body in the UK.
Don has over twenty years’ experience of best practice in the construction industry, specialising in industry change, supply chain integration and collaborative working. Over the last eleven years he has become one of the leading figures in the UK construction industry ‘reform movement’, having been chief executive of the Construction Industry Board, Design Build Foundation and Be before his current role with Constructing Excellence.
He has an honours degree in physics.
Technical Session.
Following the successful introduction of a Technical Session as part of the Society AGM and Annual Luncheon, a session has been arranged for this year’s event.
