The Sidwell Street Methodist Church - Innovation in Engineering at the heart of Edwardian Exeter
See attached an invitation to a public lecture on 24th April 2008 on the pioneering reinforced masonry system known as 'ciment armé' developed by French engineer Paul Cottancin. This special event, which is part of the Institution of Structural Engineers' Centenary Year celebrations, is organised by their Devon & Cornwall Branch.

EC6 Presentation draws over-capacity audience
An evening presentation on Eurocode 6 and its implementation was given by Peter Watt of Charlwood Partnership on 23 January to the Midlands Counties Branch of the Institution of Structural Engineers at Birmingham. The presentation was by invitation and formed the evening’s key event of the Bob Fisher Memorial Lecture which the Branch gives annually.
